Step 3 – Review & Sign Application

Your Security One Lending Specialist will prepare the application and review with you prior to signing. A representative will meet with you in your home to assist you with the application. Unlike other companies, there is never an upfront “application fee” with Security One Lending. In fact, you are not required to pay any costs out-of-pocket throughout the process, all costs can be paid through the program.

Step 4 – Appraisal, Title & Services

Your Security One Lending Team will take care of coordinating the appraisal, title and necessary services to complete your application package. The appointment for the appraiser to inspect your home will be scheduled at a time convenient for you. Again, you will not be required to prepay the appraisal and we will work on a schedule that is convenient to you.

Step 5 – Final Loan Documents

All processing of your application file will be handled by your Security One Lending Team. Your specialist will keep you informed of your loan status through each stage of the process. Once completed, all that is left for you to do is to sign the Final Loan Documents. For your convenience, the signing agent will bring the loan package and conduct the signing in your home.

Step 6 – Receive Your Funds!

Following the final signing, you are given a 3-day “right of rescission” period. This is another safeguard of the program that allows you confirm your desire to complete your Reverse Mortgage. Your loan closes after the period expires and your funds are delivered according to your direction.
